I sometimes have a difficult time determining if any aches and pains are MS or 'age appropriate'.
I'll be 60 this year and do have some close friends the same age without MS, however if you remove the MS factor I think I'm healthier probably from living with this for almost 30 years, I seem to approach life a bit different.

My right ankle will feel like I broke it from time to time. It's definetely hard to explain to people why I'm limping. Yesterday I was having a hard time walking, it felt as though I had broken bones. It's an annoying, frustrating and painful part of MS

I'm glad you posted this, I thought I was crazy. I have "bone" pain and being a nurse my first thought was there's no way my bones could possibly hurt.

I am in a lot of pain today. Overall stiffness and some swelling in my hands. But there have been days when my legs hurt so much I feel like if they would just break I would have relief.

Yes! Before my MS diagnosis, my doc was thinking that I may have a bone marrow disorder. I have had doctors that dismiss it and others that speculate that it is common for people with an auto-immune disorder to be susceptible or predisposed to another. I wish I had a concrete answer myself (would like to know definitively if it is MS releated). If you find an answer, let me know :)
