Help!!

Can someone please explain to me the difference between a supplemental policy & an advantage plan? Which do you have and why? I am having a hard time understanding it. I called Medicare, and I thought I understood it, but that I'm talking to people, and they are explaining it differently. I don't know what to do.

Medicare part a and a supplemental from Harvard pilgrim. Medicare and have it pilgrim have monthly arguments about who should pay. I certainly gave my goddamn premiums.

I don't know anybody that can properly fathom the difference between Medicare plans, Especially Medicare employees, since the inception of the"affordable care act." My wife is an attorney and she has severe difficulty hitting through the nonsensical legalese. However, since Medicare does not cover more than 80% I believe the supplemental is something you buy on your own to cover the last 20%. However, not even that is clear anymore.

@A MyMSTeam Member Are you saying, every time I go to the doctor (with a supp. plan) I would need to file a claim....like actual paperwork every time?

Sadly, I know. I used to work (pre-disability) in Healthcare. Nobody's more irritated than those who actually treat patients!

Remember, both the Medicare and cobra waters have been muddied.
