I do think most physicians want their own MRI scans done. It seems they will evaluate the ones you have but will want ones taken by their own facilities. At least that's been my experience with all MRI, such as with MS and others like my back etc...

I never had that happen to me. I had someone say I needed to get another MRI because he didn't use outside scans. SERIOUSLY

How many of you have taken your MRI disc's to another Neurologist for a second opinion only to find out that Neurologist doesn't think he see's any lesions? Yet, all the symptoms match up and are definitely there.
