My Nero also does not base too much on numbers, He looks more on location and size.

My first MRI showed dozens. Some old and some not so old. My first neurologist said extensive demylenation, this was after an MRI was done in Kosovo. I rushed back to Canada amd waited almost 3 months for an MRI to confirm my diagnosis. My neurologist here saw the MRI picture that I brought from Kosovo but she didnt seem to rush anything, maybe because my symptoms were gone. I do get new often but I just tell them whatever, keep mysels occupied and not think about them
I think its important to maintain a positive attitude no matter how many lesions you have. If you worry to much it wont do you any good

My Nero told me the same thing. I have maybe 30 but I still function fairly well. And just try an not think about it (well we all know that's not true) but it's one way to fight back.
