I have been having tremors and many other symptoms can a ct scan without contrast show any lesions?
I know that's what bugs me, I see that some people get their diagnosis at a younger age, and then here I am with all these problems, and symptoms and had to beg for an mri of my spine, that showed no significant issues... and even with problems walking and tremors now still can't get a referral to neurologist, or a brain mri pffft
Double check with your neuro. It's my understanding that with the contrast they can see if the lesion is active.
My Dr ordered it both ways but radiologist changed it said they were just ruling out bleeding that my headaches were probably sinuses. Dr didn't mention tremors on orders :(
I don't know because whenever I have one it's always with & without contrast. Sorry I can't help you
