Has anyone lost their sense of taste just for one day? Happened to me yesterday. Thanks in advance.

Check on some of your medication and look up or ask you Neurologist if any of your medication would make your taste buds would make your food or drinks taste terrible. I was on a medication once that did that to my taste buds so my Neurologist took me off it. Also, I had seizures with one of my MS shots and just before a seizure everything tasted funny and smell made me sick, about a 1/2 later had a seizure.

OMG Mariposa, I take a list to EVERY Neuro visit and I get the same reaction from mine that you do from yours. HOWEVER I finally have mine "trained". I finally got pissed one visit and said, I am NOT LEAVING here until YOU and I address each ONE of these bullet points. I think I scared him, b/c now he asks if I asked all the questions on my list

@A MyMSTeam Member I'm making a list! He frowns when I pull out my list !LOL However, I learned a lot on here about symptoms I always had and never related it to MS. I never complained much before but I'm not holding back this time. I can't take some of this MS shit anymore! BTW.... Consulting with 2 attorneys. One to help me with the paperwork and one to help me deal with work issues. Full speed ahead! Thank you Fishead. BTW... How did you come up with that name?

@A MyMSTeam Member Me too! Only took them the first episode when I couldn't use my left arm.... Crazy dreams and boy I was mean! Didn't really realize it at the time. I've gone to my doc with some symptoms and he offered them but I said no. I could handle whatever it was unless it got worse. I know about the "hip problem" it could cause to I don't like to take them or any other meds unless absolutely necessary. I only recently started taking fatigue meds. I've had bad fatigue for years but the last two years it got pretty bad so I finally started taking them. Two different kinds but don't seem ease the fatigue in the slightest. Going to MS Doc. the 16th.
