I definitely DO NOT like doing the shots. My dr said the pill form DMD's have not been around long enough and wants me to stay in Rebif. I take an antidepressant Pristiq because I had the depression before starting the Rebif. My biggest issue is the fatigue. I'm 49 n have to plan my day. I get up early, not by choice n do what I need to do because by the afternoon u need a nap. Of course I can only nap on the weekends.

Hi T. I have been on Rebif for 5 years, it's the only DMD I have ever been in. I only had an issue when I first started, I guess it was my body adjusting. I inject 3x's a week, Monday, Wednesday an Friday. For me thee most important thing, in the beginning was to take 2 Aleeves 5 minutes before the injection. The side effects are flu like symptoms, the Aleeve helps with that. If u have any questions don't hesitate to ask.

U r correct. I have not experienced an exacerbation. I hope I never do, and am terrified that may happen one day.

@A MyMSTeam Member. I want to add, that depression is a symptom of MS itself. If you start feeling the depression coming on, call ur doctor for a mild antidepressant. Good luck and I hope all is going well for you on the Rebif.
