I spoke to a pharmacist, as I was falling several times a week...he suggested motion sickness meds., but when I looked at them, they were really expensive and I wasn't crazy about taking something that could possibly interfere with my other meds., so I opted to try wrist bands (sold in the same section as the meds.) and for $8, I decided to try them...have used them for about a month now and I've only fallen 3 times! Definitely feel less dizzy....hope this helps!
Boy, I thought I was alone with this. I get dizzy sometimes for a couple of days in a row, then months wil go by. Dr. said it was anxety. Gee, what do we have to be anxious about?
Lightheaded, dizzy and vertigo spells have plagued me since the beginning of this. Many years of this out of nowhere symptom. When does it happen? Are you standing, walking, turning your body around, bending down and fast rise up or can it happen when you are sitting still and or lying down?
I have dizziness from time to time. I suffer from chronic sinus infections which doesn't help. Vertigo is the medical term. Common with MS. There's meds you can take to get you thru these episodes or on a daily basis, depending on your particular case.
Loss of balance (what I thought initially as dizziness) is one of my major problems. I have lived with this symptom for more than 30 years. It is getting worse by the day. I am now 65 years old. I hate to think what it will be if I live to 75.
