I wanna say...yes...I know ...I just fake everything to get people's attention and stay off work so I can watch soaps. Ugh...but as someone said earlier, I can see how people who don't know can find it annoying that you look perfectly well and call in sick! I guess, thank you is the most appropriate answer. MS society had a pamphlet that said "but you look so good" I think...and it explained in there how MS may not have any visible symptoms. I don't know if they have it anymore but I would love to have a stack in my car to hand to people who doubt me. :(
I always just roll my eyes and tell them to educate themselves before they open their mouths.
When others say, "you look good"... I reply, "why thank you, I wish my brain did too!" And vice versa when others say you don't look sick... My response is, "I wish my MRI's said the same thing..." I have found that it really is a lack of understanding and and little education goes and long way 😊

You guys are funny!! :) I just smile and say thank you. It's not worth it to make someone feel bad. They're just trying to be nice to me and don't know what else to say. But I have to admit it is annoying.....if only I could turn myself inside out, well then they'd see what's really going on!
Wait to you get a disability.
