Just wondering what medication everyone else who experiences vertigo is on? I'm on antivert and most of the time it helps, but I was wondering what else is out there.

I use Meclizine. It's pretty much the same as Dramamine, just a higher dose age. Been a using it for over 19 years. And without side effects.

Cinnarzine works for me every time - I keep my stash near my bedside whenever it kicks in - talk to your GP

Depending on the cause of your vertigo, a good Physical Therapist has lots of tricks up his/her sleeve. You neuro or pcp can write you a script.

Antivert is now OTC (over the counter) and used like Benadryl...both sedating. Guess you have to decide, dizzy vs being tired. I look army both, and figure not a hard decision, asking myself, "what can you do, when you're dizzy?" Not much, so I opt for being tired. I find the longer I wait to address my dizziness, the longer I have to deal with the dizziness. Just my two cents worth! ;-)
