I feel like I have arthritis in addition to my ms. Does anybody else suffer with arthritis and is it common to have both? My joints are so painful I've had to take pain meds for the last 5 days and I hate doing that.

If you have one autoimmune disease you're likely to have another. Arthritis is an autoimmune disease

I get the stiff feeling also. Had both hips replaced last year. Don't think it is MS related, but u have to think some connection.

I get arthritic type joint pain as a side effect of Tysabri. You may check into the side effects of any meds you're on.

@Jay-Jay, You say a lot with 1 finger. I can join you on 'the fun of having kidney stones' That reminds me--DRINK a LOT OF WATER !! The pain had me screaming into a towel so no one would hear me My doctor was away (THANKSGIVING).
I've only started to read your 'story'. Keep cool and keep drinking that water!
