Does anyone else suffer from headaches with ms? I was just diagnosed literally a couple weeks ago and I'm getting really bad headaches.
After I found out I had MS I had a horrible headache for a week or two. Mine was caused by stress! It was totally overwhelming to find out I had MS. I had heard of the disease but had no idea what it was. Things have gotten better for me. I would guess that many get headaches with MS. I wish you the best in discovering your self. Self care is suddenly the most important thing you can do. I had heard from others that you need to care for yourself first so you can care for and be your best for others. But I didn't realize how true it was until now. Listen to your body!!! Good luck!
I get frequnt headaches that my neurologist calls a migraine bc there are 1000 of kinds of migraines. For me the headaches are related to muscle spasms in my head.
Yes but had headaches first, related to my neck. Ice is the best treatment for headache IMO & hubby says the same.
I find that stress induces my headaches, or when stress levels are higher in my life, the headaches become more frequent. The extreme heat triggers migraines for me. I've been prescribed Imatrex for the migraines but have found Excedrine migraine, couple glasses of water, & sometimes a nap (if I'm able to sleep) will help eleviat the pain or throbbing of the migraine.
Yes, headaches have been a part of my life :( Dr has gave me two different meds, but I have found the generic Exedrine helps alot.
