Just got a letter in the mail saying I've been denied. When I started this process almost 1 yr ago now I really felt bad for about 3 months. I now feel better. What should I do? Continue with allsup or let it go?
Most I have heard about get denied first try. Get a lawyer, one that is familiar with applying for disability, you don't usually pay till after you are approved.
MSAA recommended Binder & Binder....that is why I went with them. I am sure ALLSUP is good, as well (I just didn't know about them at the time). Good luck to us all. And let's not worry too much about the process (it's not good for us and can cause us to flare!). Sometimes things just are what they are and banging your head over is just counter-productive :)
Yes. Retain a Disability Attorney. I have been working on mine since October 2014. Been turned down twice and am now in a 300 day wait period for a face-to-face judicial hearing. good luck..be patient...just take time. Most people who apply are denied the first and even second time!

Yes I loved how they simplified the paperwork questions & were very thorough. I would get just exasperated trying to think of how to answer them or exactly what they were asking me...shew!! I think my LTD people had them to contact me around a year or so ago. I do try not to stress over it as it does make me feel so much worse...but I am awaiting hearing now....I pray everything goes good!
