Every couple weeks I wake up with my joints killing me. I feel like I need to oil my joints. Hands and knees are the worse. Usually this last 2-3 days then things are ok. I take Copaxone shots.

I take Tecfidera. After 1 week of taking I awoke with severe elbow pain. I had not done anything to injury or pull it so I thought I slept funny. Later in day my chest got very tight and I felt like my heart was bruised. I called the doctor and the nurse told me to stop the Tecfidera and rest and drink lots of fluids & if it got any worse go to ER asap. The chest stopped and when doctor called me next morning he did not think it was meds, but told me to wait until tomorrow and start taking it again. Long story short...the chest pain did not return but my joint in my elbow has hurt (throbbed) ever since. I've never had joint pain before and this is def in the joint. I have no clue and wondered if it was the Tecfidera too :( I don't have answer but I do understand your concerns..

I don't feel any burning- just pain like I've pulled muscles, also major stiffness
