My brother was diagnosed with MS in 1982 and has chronic progressive type. He is basically blind and has hand tremors. We are considering getting him an iPad/tablet. He listens to downloaded books on his wife's phone but can't start or stop due to vision and tremors. Any thoughts/suggestions?
Your state may have a blind program for books on tape. TX does and they provide a tape player with extra large shaped buttons that are easy to use and mail you tapes in the subjects you pick automatically. They even provide return shipping.
Check with your state if you have a blind and visually impaired agency. In Wisconsin we do sometimes they can come to the house and see what will work for that person and assist with it.
