I'm know I'm not the only person that has mental breakdowns. But with stress being a "no,no", what the heck do you do
This for me mainly consists of all the duties of a mother, wife, daughter, sister, dog owner, baseball mom, gymnasts mom, maid, the one who drives everyone every where they need to go, grocery shopper, shopper for anything else, budgeter, tax person, booboo fixer, referee, teacher, listener along with so many other jobs. And I am disabled

I just sit back and jam Out on some Van Morrison tell all my family I'm in a van zone time BYE!!
I'm one meltdown after another. I don't think anyone even listens to my woes anymore bc it's always something. It really is always something though. I work full time as a K-2 teacher, mom to 7 yr old, plus life. I'm suffering from extreme anxiety and depression and people telling me I need to stop being stressed does not help. I often daydream about "running away" but love my daughter too much. I'm sorry you are not being heard. I think what would help is a stronger support system but I haven't figured out how to expand it, hence, this chat room. When you need to vent, and if you don't have people around you who understand, maybe come back to chat. Idk if it helps - only 2nd time on it but good luck. A lot of this is isolating.
Practice the art of benign neglect. Do only the absolute essentials, and look at that list closely - will it matter in a hundred years(housework)? Is it a matter of survival?- and let the other stuff go. Don't be afraid to take stuff off your plate, it may take awhile for the other people living in your house to catch on and start picking up the slack but you have to be the one to give yourself permission to let stuff go first. And I don't mean in a pissy, tantrum-y way, just a matter of fact way. You cannot do it all. Nobody can. But people easily get used to relying on that one uber-efficient, reliable person and forget that every member of a household needs to contribute. I used to get stressed and pissed off about being the only one to keep the house clean until I decided to shift my focus and not worry about everything being 'just so'. A little bit of dirt hurts no one and now, my husband is more particular about cleaning the house than I am! The sharing of labour is important. I'm not sure how old your kids are or if they have chores, but I highly recommend it. Clearing the table, cleaning the kitchen, doing or at least putting away their own laundry, cleaning their rooms and one common area, are all things you can take off your plate and have them be responsible for, which in turn helps them appreciate how much goes into running a house. You really didn't mention chores or housework as things that bug you, so I apologize for the tangent, but you can still apply it to the stuff that is feeling overwhelming. I used to do all the budgeting too, then when I went back to work FT I told my husband it was his turn. Turns out he really enjoys it and I love not having to worry about it even though I'm not working right now. Overall, I say don't feel guilty for the breakdowns but maybe try to change some things to minimize future meltdowns. Oh, wine helps too! ππ·
When I am experiencing MS symptoms, there are times when I want to scream and cry over the enormity of it all MS is doing to my life. After I do scream and cry, I pull myself together and tell myself that I have to accept my new life and its challenges. I thank God that I have felt better since I was given a strong dose of prednisone, taken off Betaseron and prescribed a high dose of Vitamen D. I am now taking Tecfidera, and I haven't had any side effects.
I still get frustrated when I don't get much done in a day that I used to. I feel overwhelmed when I am faced with more than I can handle. When I know I've reached my limit of being able to deal with things, I back off and let others take over part of the load.
