I once thought about weight loss surgery, but the thought of the surgery part was scary I have 14 grandbabies and last January i was pretty close to 300 lbs and I told myself I was not going to hit 300 that i would be able to do stuff with the kids. So I changed my eating habits. Low carb high fat the first week i gave away 11 lbs. And now I have given away 62 lbs if i could exercise or would drink more water it would be more but i have slacked because of stress but it isn't really hard. look up bullet proof coffee and there are groups on face book that give a lot of support. Good luck ps. i say gave away because i do not want to find the weight.

I have been on every diet known to man. One that was very successful was a liquid diet. 13 weeks, no food, whatsoever. It was really hard, and I have kept the weight off for 20+ years. I do tend to gain weight in winter, but take it right off with some awareness that I need to drop a few pounds.
I worry with your health, what the diet will do to your MS, and your medications. I think I would talk to your primary care, and your neuro before you do anything. I think it could be dangerous to your compromised health, I just look at your picture, and see a beautiful young woman, you are perfect exactly as you are.
My husband is awesome about these things, I always rip up on myself, old habits hard to break. He just says, no dieting, you are perfect (which I am not), and he reminds me the damage a diet would probably do.
Just be you, and love you, and the rest will fall into place.
Keep me posted what you decide, I hope you can find something that will make you feel better.
Hugs
Allie

Ideal Protein helped me lose 40 lbs when I was first diagnosed. Felt so much better. I continue to stay away from sugar and simple carbs.
