Anticipate that everything will go well. As somebody else mentioned, after I received my first infusion (which lasted a couple hours), I felt some itching around the needle site, and on my neck. But it was very minor. The infusions made me tired, during and after. I'm very hopeful for you, and I will be pushing my doctor to prescribe me Rituxan or, later, Ocrilizumab. When I took Rituxan ten years ago, my wife and I were convinced it was helping me. The trial ended and so did my infusions. Based on what I'm reading, researchers now realize the drug can be very beneficial for some people. Good luck!

@A MyMSTeam Member I had 3 infusions in August. One was not successful but that was bc the nurses were panicky and over-reacted. Otherwise, everything went well. Ia m due for another course in March as well. Most explained how it will go. They will also give you a printout with long list of side effects. Do not read that before your infusion! You will be fine. I was very scared, but it is not that bad a all. And it is over before you know it. Supposedly it is helping me, but I don't know yet. Too early to tell now.

O had. Few infusions last year when I was hospitalized during an exacerbation. (They wanted to make sure I hadn't had a stroke!). The only downside for me was I was so full of liquids I had to pee for like a week. Hang in there

Just because you have no new lesions doesn't mean you won't experience symptoms. It's one of the many frustrations of MS...
