I have been on Tecfidera about 18 months, and yes, my hair was getting very thin. It was already thinning while I was on Rebif but seemed to get worse on the Tecfidera. I was taking biotin, 5000mcg, and didn't notice a difference but then doubled the dose to10,000, sublingual and my hair seems to be making a comeback! My friend that does my hair really noticed the difference. I don't know that the biotin is the key, but I will continue to take it. Good luck. :)
I on Tysabri 3 years noticed I had more hair in my brush hair was shoulder length went short now not so much
It's a side effect of the tecifidera. Look on the Internet there are blogs about it. The kicker is that most of our meds have this side effect.
My nureo told me about a 3 step shampoo system, nioxin. It's pricey but it helped. Also have your hormone levels checked. That can cause hair loss as well.
