I've been on 1800 mg of the Gralise for almost a year now. Overall it's way better than the Gabapentin. But I still have the neuropathy problems. Two nights ago I had a flair up that was nearly bad enough to go to the ER. I did everything I could and because I had used Medical Marijuana I knew that they wouldn't give me anything else. I was at a point that if someone offered to amputate my legs I would have gone for it. So yes for me the Gralise is better than the Gabapentin but....

As good as normal? That's awesome. I will order a 30 day supply now. All I have to lose is $20.

I started to get relief after 2 days and pretty well as good as normal has been for a long while on the 3rd day.

Hi I'm also on Gabapentin 600MG a day had told someone in the beginning when i was only taking 300mg a day that it wasn't doing anything for me no side afects but also not taking the pain away. Now on 600mg I have mega dizziness even in bed when I turn my head I feel like I'm going to pass out and regarding the pain it does go away but only for about 3 hours and then it returns...so I take 300mg in the morning and 300mg in the evening the dizziness never left and the relief of the pain is down to 2 hours in the morning comes back and then in the evening I get another 2 hours of relief. I do not want to take any more MG of gabapentin I would actually like to get off of it but what other pain killer does anyone recommend that is helping them without this extreme side affect?
To the gentleman that I said that I didn't have any side affects I really feel for you because now I really know what you were going through or maybe not because you were on 1500mg a day...I sure hope they took you out of it and that you are on something else that is helping you and that you don't feel that bad dizziness ever again. So sorry I could not relate to you at that time!

I took the lowest dose of Gabapentin (100 mg. I think) and my neuro told me to take at night and if 100 mg didn't help I could take up to three. Well, just one pill was enough to make me a candidate for the walking dead. Gabapentin is a very powerful drug and I'd be scared to take the huge doses. I guess if it works it's worth it. but it's scary stuff.
