My left eye began watering constantly yesterday. Today it feels bruised and hot. My left ear is begining to hurt & the left side of my nose & head. Anyone else ever experienced this? I just had an MRI 2 weeks ago that showed nothing new. How would you handle this?

I thought that something was wrong, neuro said no. I went to my PCP. She checked things out. Said I was full of congestion, even my lungs where crackling when she listened to them. She said that the way this crazy weather was that did I take allergy medication? I told her yes, and found I was taking the same stuff for years. She put me on new stuff, and nasal spray, and inhaler to clear chest up. Mine was a simple fix-point is you know "what is right". Go get checked.

Yes! Been there...The Doc will probably order a round of Solumedral, , I.V. Then a predisone taper. Sorry if anything's misspelled.. You are having a flare up! Optic neuritis and trigemitis? Anyhow a MRI will probably show an active lesion in an area of your brain or spine that corresponds with the area. Hopefully you will be back in remission soon.

I have had similar problems! I have rosacea -- and apparently, dry eye -- AKA keratoconjunctivitis sicca. My eyes can throb, they feel itchy or sandy, and can get bloodshot. I bought an eye mask from Rite Aid that I can heat up or freeze and after putting in eye drops and doing that heating/cooling thing, it calms down. Sounds like you did the same... glad you are better!

I get the knife in my eyes, head or other parts occasionally. that's when I pull out the ice pack and My "boyfriend" the heating pad to take turns with them. 20 mins ice then 20 mins heat. Then off. I think that contracting the blood veins in this manner helps sometimes or when all else fails-take a muscle relaxer or a pain pill. : ) good luck to you on our road to fighting this monster!

Ambear that's what we are here for and this site. No place like a family with the same problems just maybe a little different but starts with the same letters.
