After 20 years living with MS I have gotten off of all meds, with no relapses. In stead I take supplements that have strengthened my immune system and detox, cleanse to strengthen my body. Feel free to ask questions if you want more information.

I have been off my meds for 5 years with no relapses (knock on wood). I started taking 1) apple cider vinegar mixed with 2) fish oil and 3) liquid greens at night before going to bed.
I also detox/cleanse my colon and liver once a year. I take supplements like activated B complex, multivitamin (helps me sleep), an antioxidant called OPC-3, digestive enzymes and 100% aloe vera juice.
70-80% of our immune system is in the gastrointestinal tract so very important to keep it healthy. Also keeping your diet at a PH that isn't to acidic is crucial.
I don't go to a Naturopath although I know a few, I am a Registered Nurse.
Hope this helps.

I took LDN in a capsule - no diluting in water, and it really seemed to help me a lot with more energy and clearer thinking. I went off of it though because I started taking narcotics for pain control and LDN and narcotics are counter to each other.
For th past several months, I have completely changed my way of eating - very clean, no sugars, no gluten or grains, very low carb and high fat. It's changed my life. I'm off of narcotics because my pain is so much better, I think clearer, and I have way more energy. I just feel a million times better in every way.
I too have stopped all DMD's - I was on Avonex and was horribly sick for 3 days after every shot and got terribly depressed, and also Copaxone but had terrible injection site problems. I finally decided that th side effects of th drugs just weren't worth it. I know that's not what the medical community recommends, and don't expect most folks to agree with me, but it's what I've decided to do, and so far it's working. I have MRI's every six months, and so far no new lesions it progression. Of course I'm open to going back on drugs down the road if things get worse, but for now I'm happy with my decision. Quality of life is super important to me.
How are you doing? I am thinking of stem cell therapy, have you heard of it?
here are many different cleanses out there. I would suggest going to a wellness store and get the advice of a certified nutritionist or naturopath. I remain on Apple cider vinegar, fish oils and liquid greens.
Recently I started Moksha yoga and I feel that it has REALLY helped with my anxiety and potential for depression.
hope this helps.
I have also gone off of medication. I take over 40 vitamins & minerals/day. Exercise is an absolute MUST for me. Daily Meditation. Yoga. Eating a diet specific to me (foods that do not cause me inflammation). No wheat or gluten. Detoxing and chelating is ongoing as we are continuously being exposed to toxins but trying to do it more now through diet. It's tough sometimes. I'm by no means perfect and I have ups and downs, but I feel thousands of times better than any day I was on medications. I chose quality of life over the small % that medication guarantees to "slow down" progression. Living for today :). Do you see a naturopath?
