My fiancé and I both have MS. She is in a nursing home in NV and I live with my brother in FL. Her condition is far more advanced than mine. She has no mobility and can do no personal care, feeding, cleansing, bathroom,etc. I walk with a walker but I can still do basic care for myself. I would be able to feed her but I'm afraid I won't be able to transfer her or shower her. Are there programs or facilities where we could live together and get some of the specific care we would need? I don't know… read more

I wish I had an answer for you! We ought to have much better care options and support for those living with disabilities. I am holding you in my thoughts.
