I was on it a little over 2 years - - no new lesions. The flushing wasn't the most pleasant and the itching could drive one to distraction - Benadryll took care of the itching, though. I tolerated the flushing, itching, and then the skin on my face becoming dry and rough (nothing worked to soften it) as it beat the pain and side effects of interferon injections. However, it then robbed me of my appetite - I literally could barely eat. 3 bites and I would be forcing down the third bite. On the positive side, dropped 30 lbs rather quickly, but no fun not being able to eat and enjoy the yummy food! If you can tolerate it, great! Oh...do be aware that it is now reported as possibly causing PML (brain infection).

Been on it for 6 months, side effects aren't that bad. They are present but mild and tolerable. Follow up MRI next month so we shall see.

It works really well for me. My neuro gave me instructions on what to eat with it and I do not have any flushing or GI side effects. I can provide them to you if you want. I am more stable on this med and pills are better than shots.

I took it. It works for some but not me. I only got the flushing side effect. It lasts about 45 minutes. No biggie, just took it an hour earlier. Best of luck if your going on it.
