Thigh pain and low back pain cause my legs to be so stiff. Is this spasticity?

I have back pain and my thighs and calves are getting increasingly tight, but mine is caused by a disc that is bulging and starting to press on the spinal cord, (I have no spinal lesions) and I get very bad sciatica too. I was shown some exercises by a physiotherapist that help with the latter a bit, but spend a lot of time just resting, or trying to stretch.

I am on the zanaflex also but my Neuro is reluctant to give me an opiate for pain. I have Tramadol and it takes the edge off the pain but not enough when pain is severe

I am on the same meds. Sorta help but wish it would just go away.
