I too have pain in my neck and mainly my right shoulder. PT states they can never get the knots worked out of my trapezius muscle. I have had 3 diff times injections in the knots by my neuro. He is great! and it helps so much for a while :(

Get another opinion! Like you stated (car wreck) this type of injury can come back after years to haunt yoy. Seriously my wife went thru this 25+ yrs later. She has very painful neck, shoulders. Current Dr says it is permanent now due to lack of care at time of accident. Hope that won't happen to you.

I just started with my shoulder and my neck. That's something new within the last 2weeks!

I have had a frozen shoulder before, and it is no fun. I have a chronic problem with my left trapezius muscle developing spasticity. Zanaflex usually relieves the issue. Not sure if yours is MS related or post-trauma.
