I am so nervous. Had to come off gilenya because it was making me VERY sick. I believe I was dying. I was sleeping 22 hours a day and could not wake up at all. I was so out of it. I was taken ooff the gilenya in November. At that time my liver function tests were normal. Now TJ ALT were double the normal levels. Does anyone have anything similar happen? I have to see a gastroenterologist.

I got high AST/ALT levels when I started taking Rebif. I had to go from the 44MCG dose to the 22MCG dose, and for the most part they have stabilized. Twice the normal levels are not that high though, I know that seems odd. When people have liver issues with these meds, they will go to like 400 AST/ALT.. So it's not as bad as it seems, just make sure you monitor it. I would check it every 30 days at this point.. Your body is probably just regulating.
