I've had MS for 20 years, been on lots of treatments but still progressing. trying to stay positive but also be realistic.. I have optic neuritis,haven't driven a car for 3 years. My legs are weak so I use a cane, walker and scooter. Im married (21 years) & working. My husband and I are tired. He doesn't say it but he also doesn't go with me to dr appts or treatmrnts anymore. See if you can get home health care. Also check with your insurance to see if they offer like a house parent or aide that will go to appts with you and even grocery shop with you. There's help out there it's just finding the right kind. Good luck on your findings. Hopefully your husband will come around. Men are not too good when it comes to a loved one being sick.

Instead of assisted living, I have home aide who comes to help me every day. She even comes with me to doctor appointments.
