Question : Does anyone else feel like they have a problem with the pressure in their head? I know MS causes headaches, but sometimes I feel like I just have too much pressure in my head. I can hear my heartbeat in my head, and my vision will fluctuate with each beat. I don't have high blood pressure at all. I think my doctor thinks that I'm making this up.
I do get the same thing, on my left side. it feels like my head is going to burst. I feel it in my left frontal lobe, left eye, left ear and sometimes on the left side of my jaw. Its horrible!
Mine is almost always in my frontal lobe behind both of my eyes. Luckily it doesn't effect my vision.
If it is the same as mine, it is spasms in your neck. You can take muscle relaxers which make me sleepy but it oesn't matter since I have to lay flat.
I also have headaches like my head is being crushed and there is always a pressure in my face
I take Baclofen as well @A MyMSTeam Member. If you believe it may be associated with tension you might want to ask your neuro about Diezapam (Valium) or even Midrin, a medicine exclusively for tension headaches. Of course with MS you can never really be certain if it's an actual condition or something related to the disease we have :(
