I would like to know how others feel while taking Gilenya? Any problems while on Gilenya?
Hi Donna, in answer to your question, I have had no headaches at all since starting. The first few days I felt a little tiny bit of eye pressure, but that went away after 3 or 4 days. I've been really happy so far with everything, I hadn't realised how much the itching from the copaxone shots was getting me down until I switched. I take my tablet at 10am, and set an alarm on my phone, as it's easier to forget a tablet than an injection! I have not had any unusual fatigue, in fact I've had more energy since starting. Good luck!

It took about 6 months before I didn't notice anything. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. A bit of insomnia and some stomach/digestion issues for that 1st 6 months. I get bloods taken every 3 months and I'm presuming that that's all OK as I've never heard anything, they said I wouldn't hear anything unless there was something to tell.
It's always going to be hard knowing exactly what it's doing for you as improvements could just be down to being in remission but I'm pretty confident it's played a MASSIVE part in the improvement I've made in 2016, I see it as having saved my life tbh, up until taking it my health was just going in the opposite direction.
I have been on Gilenya for a month. So far so good! The inital dosage was fine for me, no problems. So far this month I have felt the best I have done for at least 8 months, so I am very happy with it. I know it's early days though, and I was very nervous before I started it. Good luck to you.
So who's with me on this? Frustration level when people don't get us whenever?i try to do my best and give GOD the rest but sometimes it's all too much! Trying to plan some time off with hubs, you know the drill
