Hi guys. I'm meeting with one of our state senators to have a conversation about access to MS medications with my local MS Society chapter, and fortunately up to this point I have not had any issues with accessing them, or the costs associated with the meds (my copaxone is covered 100% by their program). I wanted to hear your voices be heard if you want.. have you had any issues with getting your MS meds?
Shared Solutions (I think they are with the Copaxone manufacturer--or work for them) help me with our need to meet our annual deductible before I am 100% covered (but they have a limit). Otherwise, we would have an issue making our $5K deductible for the year.
My husband's company uses CVS Caremark specialty pharmacy which is horrible about accounting and will charge us even after we've satisfied our deductible and never provide accounting.
As a bonus, this year, they've decided that our funding support from Shared Solution won't be applied to having satisfied out of pocket deductible since I didn't really pay it, a secondary source did. So they get their money AND they still continue to charge us for all prescriptions to get their $5K. There is a special place in hell for them all.
@A MyMSTeam Member What drugs? I get mine from CVS Caremark!
@ CoolLionessCan't your doctors fight that? I don't no
