For the pass three days, I have been feeling pain in my legs and now it's numb and tingly. While I'm walking to class my leg and foot would go numb. What should I do? Because I'm in college and I live on campus and it's becoming to be a hassle going to class.
Hi... I have leg & foot pain all day long walking, standing, or sitting. Also, I have the tingling, burning, & numbness very bad in the morning & night. My neurologist has tried at least 10 different meds with me and nothing seems to help. The only thing I gained from it was weight. I then agreed to start "Ampyra " and that escalated my pain 1000%. So, I stop that and here I am today still in all the same pain.
I do go 1-2 times per month for a massage and that helps for a while. My next visit will be for acupunture to see if that would give me some relief.
Try the massage or acupuncture or both hopefully these will work for you.
I got in touch with my specialist and he wants me to have a MRI ASAP and start four days of Steroid pills. Thank you everybody for your advice.
New or worsening symptoms lasting over 24 hours could be an exacerbation. You should call your doctor.
Oh, I forgot to mention, this situation makes me want to scream everyday. Some days, I do shed tears.....
Get to a doctor as soon as you can.
