Well my answer is from personal experience. I was on Tysabri for a couple years and an MRI I got after being on it for awhile had me really surprised. When they compared it to one I'd had done before I started getting it there was a big difference. The doc told me that not only had most of my lesions shrunk but at least one had disappeared. If it wasn't for the fact that I tested positive for the antibody that can lead to PML I would still be on it.

My neurologist said they do and often the ones on the spine heal fastest. She's expecting the one on my spine to be healing at the next MRI.

Last year my MRI revealed one of my lesions did shrink but that does not indicate MS is gone.

In RRMS Lesions can heal/shrink in the absence of active disease. Disease inactivity is what the DMD's are supposed to do.
