Helping With Writing
Hi! I have a question. I've been using wrist weights to help my writing and it has helped a lot to keep my hand from flying off the page but my fingers still have a mind of their own,so I was looking into something that might help and I thought about finger weights but they are really expensive and I want to strengthen and control my fingers so I was looking at this,Finger Master Hand Strengthener ? @A MyMSTeam Member, This is just a guess, but: I used a "Thumb Stabilier" ('brace')
when I was getting occupational therapy. I used the 'Stabilizer' to relieve pain I had with my thumb & forefinger. It held my fingers together; I'm wondering if a resourceful occupational therapist or a friend could manipulate your fingers to separate them but leave them free enough so you can use at least a few fingers. OR, separate your fingers (at least a few fingers) with cotton or paper folded to be thinner than the cotton.
The person helping you needs to be more resourceful than me! 📋
