How do you deal with MS after losing your significant other because they can't handle it no more? Knowing that you might not ever feel love again!

Nobody can say what is right for you, take this opportunity to explore what IS right for you. For me, at first I was afraid I would never be loved or in love again. Now, I'm taking this time alone to pay attention to me for once. I spent my entire life putting others first........I've gotten to know myself, my likes and dislikes, my passions. Instead of spending my days and nights pining away for love, I make it a point to appreciate what I DO have. Since I have changed my attitude and my priorities, I'm not lonely anymore. Would I love to have love again? Sure! But this is my life now, and I'm not going to waste a single moment of it focusing and searching for another to fill me up.....if it happens, fantastic, if not......I am enough to be happy:)

Losing your significant other should have nothing to do with how you deal with your MS, they're 2 separate issues.
My wife of 13 years left, ending in divorce. Sure it was a kick in the nuts at the time but a couple of years down the line and I wouldn't go back. Relationships can be stressful and my life now has far greater peace and tranquility, I decide what to do, when to do it, if at all !
I can't see me falling in love ever again, mainly because I was burned last time out and I view it all now as effectively having another job, which I just don't have the energy for.

So sorry to hear this. I myself dealt got dealt with the same cards... After he proposed, I had found out a year later i had MS.. Wedding venue and everything was booked...few months before our wedding he told me he couldn't do it because i had MS. It was truly sad, but you have to move on. Im still in the same boat because dating is super hard as well! I do, have to cath myself and its super embarrassing. Regardless, i have to wake up each and every day with a positive attitude, otherwise I'm sitting in my own crap being depressed and anxious and that just makes all my symptoms worse. Sending you hugs at this moment!!
