I have tingling numbness in my lips, and tip of nose. I also have what they think is hemi facial spasm on left side of my face which pulls the corner of my mouth. It's not really noticeable but annoying. But now I'm having spasms in both legs and both eye lids. It's very annoying. I'm having mri done next week but was wondering if anything can help.
So far nothing helps.
I have facial spasms on one half of my face along with spasticity issues in my legs. I take Bacofin twice during the day and then tizanidine at night to help with the spasticity. Don't know of anything to help with the facial spasms - - nothing has ever been offered, just acknowledgement of the spasms.
I have started having spasms in my left jaw several times a day. It is not painful, but I cannot control my jaw at all, and my teeth literally clack together, and my cheek is 'frozen'. Luckily I have a doctor appt in a few days.
I was just wondering about facial spasms and it's connection with MS and saw this post. I have instances where the right side of my face will suddenly spasm where the outer corner of my eye will begin to feel "funny" and then my cheek and side of my face will tremor and twitch, even feel like my right nostril is trying to "get into the act," but it can't move like my cheek and eye can. Anyone know of anything that can help stop it when it does happen? I'm currently on baclofen (day) and tizanidine (night) for the spasticity in my legs.
