Okay finally did the switch to Aungio. Took four pills and woke up this morning and I have bright blood in my urine now. I though yesterday things are going good, no big side effects. Does mention it in paperwork as less common. See what doc says, can't be simple. Anyone else have this problem?

Members rallied around someone who noticed blood in their urine after starting Aubagio, with many urging them to seek care right away rather than wait. Several members shared their own experiences with Aubagio causing liver and kidney concerns, while the original poster eventually discovered the cause was a bladder infection, treated with antibiotics, and scheduled a follow-up with a urologist. A recurring theme was the importance of not dismissing new symptoms as unrelated to medication, staying hydrated, and following up with specialists for ongoing bladder issues.

@A MyMSTeam Member at the emergency room now. Had a little more blood this am. Half the amount of yesterday I say. Take Aubgio at 11 pm and was fine at1 am before bed. Then it happened again
. Doc doesn't think it's Aubgio. Hard to believe that amount of blood from Urine infection.

Feel better.😊

I had blood in my urine at one point. You need to go to a plumbing doctor.

Go to the ER, don't wait for your doctor. It may be the Aubagio, but may be something else. Please let us know how you are doing.

@A MyMSTeam Member I get so tired of it, seems like one thing after another and seeing doctors. You can relate with your neck ordeal. My back surgery has been a long ordeal, but gaining on it now. The bladder on and off retention is another issue. Anytime I take something like flexeril, baclofen and gapeurtin (nuerton) for nerve pain it makes it worse. I do LIKE the name Dr. Lioness. Have had many bladder infections, but never with blood. I did make an appointment to see a urologist next week and I was lucky because it was a cancellation. So we will see how I
can get this constant bladder issue resolved. I absolutely hate all the bladder tests also. On a 1 to 10 it is a 10. Just saying.....Happy New Year and behave.
