Abandoned by wife, ex work colleagues and friends along the way to the point I now have my parents and 2 friends left.
It was all fairly traumatic at the time but a couple of years later and I appreciate the simple life I now have and wouldn't change a thing. I'm far closer to my parents than before, which I consider the biggest blessing to come out of it all.
I was suicidal with all the loss going on and it took time and heartache but ultimately lead to me finding out how strong I actually am. I'm a bit scarred yes, but in a far happier place, MS or not.

The loss of relationships was totally unexpected. I guess I just assumed, that when shit hits the fan people that love you show up...........that's not how it worked out for me. I have 2 friends left........but, it forced me to look inside myself and depend on myself more, and I feel fortunate for that.

My boyfrien of 3.5 yrs almost left me early December bc I can't move back to tx due to no health insurance. He doesn't think he can watch me deteriorate. He ended up staying but it really put a damper on the trust between us.

Yes, my husband of 15 years left saying he couldn't handle MS. That's alright the perfect man came into my life after who has no problem with it. I've since been diagnosed with MS and Lupus. Still he has stayed happily by my side. True love is all I can say.
