It's comes and goes stays for days or at others times I don't hear it at all. Driving me batty!!!
Ringing in my ears and pretty bad balance is actually what made me first go to the doctor which led to the whole process of getting diagnosed with MS. I haven't been back to my ENT in a while (insurance problems for a little while then only had time for neuro appointments) but I don't know if I were still going that it would solve the problem. My ears ring mostly when there isn't a lot of noise in both ears at a pretty high pitch.
I have bilateral tinnitus. Had it for years. It's getting louder and louder. I went to a ENT doctor because I have tumors in my parotid glands. I asked him about the ringing in my ears. He said he looked at my last MRIs and I had no lesions in the brain area that would effect my hearing or ringing. Now for me anyway, it was proven to be military related. I did get hearing aids from the V.A. and they do put out white noise or pink noise. Very helpful with the ringing. Go on YouTube a look up white noise for tinnitus. Listen to it and see if it helps. I have it 24/7. It is annoying.
I've had it so long it kinda blends in with all other sounds, just a constant high pitch ping/buzz... thanks MS!!
I get a single pitch that comes on out of no where, but quickly fades in less than 30 seconds. It happens maybe a few times a month.
All the time! so annoying!
