I was just diagnosed in January. I started Plegridy injections this month on the 6th . I just had my 2nd injection on the 20 . The first injection I had flu like symptoms for about 3 hours and then I felt pretty good. It seemed like I felt almost symptom free . This time when I took the injection I feel crazy . I don't feel good. It seems like my ms symptoms are worse. Wednesday night I took baclofen to help with my legs . I usually only take that once or twice a month. Thursday I cried all day… read more

The neurologist & I have agreed to try another shot ... he said if I have the same bad thoughts & crying we will switch to something else... those symptoms lasted 3 days... then I started to feel like I had my brain back plus the fakey flu like symptoms... been taking Vitamin D ... b12 complex... b-1 also ... flaxseed oil ... and lots of frozen blueberries & bananas... and I started feeling alert ... my brain feels better & I started shallow water aerobics...

I can only hope it's a temporary thing. With the Rebif, for the first 6 months or so, it made me edgy and gave me the flu three times a week. It kind of made you feel fake sick, it was very odd. Then it went away after my body got used to it. All of these drugs are really messing with your immune system, so I think that is why you get that alien feeling. I had it a little too. I imagine it will ebb with time, as long as you don't go all Incredible Hulk on anyone in the meantime!! :P
