If you've tried it. In what form? Also, how long did it take for you to find the right dose?

Members responded with enthusiasm to the question about medical marijuana, with many sharing that it has been a true game-changer for managing MS symptoms like pain, muscle spasms, nausea, anxiety, and sleep difficulties. Several members described using edibles, CBD oils, tinctures, capsules, vape cartridges, and topical creams as alternatives to smoking, with a few noting that doctors advised against smoking due to possible interference with MS medications. A recurring theme was that finding the right dose takes time, and many encouraged visiting a dispensary for one-on-one guidance, with most agreeing it felt far better than relying on traditional medications with harsh side effects.

Medical marijuana is essential to my well being. It and Copaxone have kept me walking for 26 years.

@A MyMSTeam Member I'm so encouraged to hear that your DR is so supportive - AND that he says it's ok to smoke. I was told by several different DR that smoking it interferes with the DMT effectiveness. Part of me does wonder, however, just low legit that is since so little official testing of MMJ has been done. Do they just "have" to say that??? And they told me that while I was on copaxone so I know it's not just a tecfidera thing (what I'm taking now). Curious if your DR knows how you take it and what you think about this! Agreed that it would be much easier to control dosage that way! And there are some really great high CBD strains that I'd like to try. I did get some to try to make my own edibles, but haven't tried it yet. Buying flower is definitely the most cost effective. Thanks for any thoughts on the matter you may have! XX

Lots and lots and lots. I'm stoned every night just so I can sleep...well six hours any way.

I'm a singer too - I hear ya about smoking, and also interestingly, my doctors told me not to smoke cannabis - the smoking interferes with our DMT effectiveness apparently. They support me using edibles, tinctures, and capsules.

Cannabis has helped with every symptom I have. I take CBD only in the mornings so I can function but also get the anti-inflammatory benefits. At night I take a blend of CBD & THC. I sleep like a baby. It's the only way I can get the 8-10 hours of restorative sleep my DR recommends.

Dosage does take a while. If you have a dispensary nearby most of them offer 1:1 consults to give some advice. I'm a total lightweight with cannabis, so I had to work up to my current dose which is about 30mg/day CBD (split between morning and night) and 15-20mg THC at night. There are some great edibles out there. I really like Kiva, Bhang, and KIND products best.

Good luck to you....with the cannabis and the Voice audition! :-)
