Are there any treatments for progressive progressive ms and what are they?
No, I'm afraid not but on the plus side , it is getting more attention & some research is being done. I don't know the progress on it but feel it won't benefit me (70) but I hope you will & the many out there with PPMS!
i heared of people who overcome ms with ozone therapy. If u go on u tube there is a testimony I think his name is Brian and his story of recovery. I have my ozone set up at home and u can buy it for around just over a thousand dollars. You need to remember that ms is virus infection inflaming your nerves. What feeds the virus.? It's dairy gluten and eggs and animal fats. If u stay on fruits and vegetables which do not feed the virus and combine it with vitamin c therapy let's say 5000 mg a day. And on the weekend u stop the vitamin c which is an antioxidant and do the ozone then I think u will improve. Also do not take flu shots because of aluminium which coagulates your red blood cells and leads to tiny clots. Rather drink distilled water which has no impurities .
None, zip, nada for PPMS. You can take @Ampyra for mobility issues if you have any.
I've been taking @Ampyra for over 2 years and it keeps me walking, even if it is poorly. All of the drugs that you see or read about for MS are for RRMS or SPMS. And, don't get sucked into the current excitement over @Ocrevus / Ocrelizumab supposedly coming at the end of this month for PPMS. The actual trial results for PPMS were disgusting, and it did not help anyone get better.
Try reading Dr Terry Wahls book The Wahls protocol....there may be some helpful advice in there. You can research the book online. Good luck :-)
Back to the other neurologist after the tests.
