My urologist wants me to have bladder augmentation with a catheterizable channel. Anyone ever have this procedure?

It took me awhile to get the hang of it. But it is a lot better than having a Foley catheter all the time! I find it is easiest for me to do the self cathing while lying down. The catheter attaches to a collection bag. I also use a mirror and a bright light, so I can see what I am doing. It is a little uncomfortable, but not painful.
