I have been on Provigil for about 15 years and it is not working as well as it used to. Have never slept well no matter how fatigued I am. Neurologist just started me on a drug to help me sleep and stop the muscle spasms that keep me awake. That is helping. She said if the fatigue continues during the day that there is a newer form of Provigil out that I can switch to that seems to work better. I'll decide in a few weeks. Good luck.

I currently don't take anything for my fatigue. I believe part of my tiredness is due to medication I've been taking for a seizure I had Feb 2015, which after many tests led thr diagnosis that I had MS. I'd been in excellent condition up to my seizure. I'm still in pretty good shape and no one, except my family, likely notices I have any health issues. I am very fortunate. Currently I take a nap in the afternoon, typically I sleep for 2-3 hours. I've noticed relatively minor changes to my MS symptoms, but recognize my MS could get worse at anytime. I wish you the best and wish I could be of more help. My blesdings to you. Have a great 4th of July.

Besides medicine, I have learned to stop and start often every day. When I am fatigued.
( which is most of the time) I stop what I am doing and rest.

I live in Texas and go to The Mayo Clinic in Rochester Minnesota. I am in their program "Best Practices".
Their technique of working with the mind, body, and mobility is amazing. The Mayo Clinic is also in Florida and Arizona. I also go to UTSouthwestern in Dallas Texas. I am starting their gait program. I have drastically changed my diet to a high protein diet and everything I eat is very healthy.
Physical therapy and occupation therapy helps me greatly. I go 2 times weekly since last June. Other things that help me is when I get tired I do my breathing techniques while listening to soothing music. This helps me relax and helps with pain ans relaxation.
