I was prescribed Minocyline along with my Copaxone. The minocycline is a antibiotic that is suppose to protect the blood/brain barrier. I've been on Minocycline for about five years when I developed a change in my skin around my mouth, a purplish color, a couple of months ago. I had to go to a dermatologist to find out what was causing the discoloration. If I stop taking the Minocycline then the discoloration will disappear in a couple of months.
