I think cystitis is just inflammation of the bladder and UTI is caused from bacteria. If i feel I suspect I have either I get a get a quick test done at doctors. UTI is treated with antibiotics and cystitis I treat with over the counter remedies and cranberry juice. Symptoms of cystitis I have a stinging sensation passing urine and UTI I can feel unwell with and pain in lower abdomen and lower back. I seem to get them quite a lot. Hope that helps 😊 x

Definitely discuss w your Dr. I have Urinary frequency, which is per my Dr. Related to Bladder Spasms not a UTI.

I do not know the difference, but I have had UTI's associated with a long term catheter. I also had sepsis along with the infection, which put me the hospital.

I have bladder spasms and get UTI's.

If you are at all concerned, get to the a Doctor....a sample will answer your question for the doctor
