I am new to this and was curious to know how often the diagnosis progresses from relapsing remitting to primary or secondary progressive?
Listen, don't worry about it. Just take one day at a time. It could take years.
I have been Relapse/Remitting for 31 Years now. I met a Lady Today in Person who was DX. with Relapse/Remitting MS 40 Years ago. MS varies so much from Person to Person!
MS is known as the snowflake disease. Every patient is different just as all snowflakes are different. You just never know what's gonna happen. I try not to worry too much because you just never know if or when something will change.
Every one is different, I have had relapsing MS since I was diagnosed in 1980, so I looked out and never progressed. So I can't tell any one how long that it takes to get worse, it just might not happen like me.
RRMS for 17 years now! As everyone else can attest to...don't know what is gonna happen next. Just try to stay positive @A MyMSTeam Member ☺
