Has anyone asked there doctor saying the air conditioner is a medical necessity with your MS for taxes purpose. Was it worth it? Ours just broke and needs to be replaced. Sad part is we will have to do our furnace also and we're planing on moving next Soring. New EPA rules, can't use our furnace with new air conditioners. Ugh....🤑🤑🤑
I have to use my airconditioner when it's humid. I asked the MS society for help and they gave me the money as I couldn't afford it. You should call them.
Good advice up above! I always get the form from the utility co. and have my Dr. sign it. Therefore they give us a medical break on the charge. It is not tremendous but every bit helps!!
Our central air went out a couple weeks ago and I do need air conditioning but we can not afford the 7000 for a new one so my husband bought 2 air conditioners, 1 for the living room and 1 for room up stairs who do I contact to help for Central air?
Have you contacted the MS Society. They can get you one no charge. They will get items like that for you every 5 years or so.
@A MyMSTeam Member mine would be central air also.
