I have had this problem and it's getting worse because I'm to embarrassed to tell my mum and neurologist but it's getting worse so and my appointment is coming up in November. Anyway here's the problem...
When I need to urinate if I don't push (like when you have a poo) urine won't come out at all.
Has anyone had this before?
I'm getting upset thinking I'll end up in continent again like when I was in hospital.
You must talk to your mum, it is potentially quite dangerous having retention issues, the sooner you see a. Doctor the better - please.....there you have had a chat with an old man in another country, about it, how much easier will it be to tell your mum who loves you?
Andy is completely spot on. My doctor and neurologist ask me about his at every appointment. To much water retention outs enormous stress on your heart. They need to find out why you are having trouble
There are excerises too ask your doctor about it and meds they can try u on and other things so ask don't be afraid they deal with this every day woth thousands of people especially us who suffer ms hun xxx

Ask for a referral to a urologist
