Has Anyone been approved for disability with relapse remitting ms? Was it hard?
I have applied for SSD in SoCal. I just had to go to a pychological test last week. It was lame. The "DR" really didn't ask me about myself & issues. Just read my summary. Then did memory test. Which I passed. She was cold and disinterested. I have RRMS, Fibromyalgia, 3 heart arrhythmia surgeries, 4th may be coming? Chronic pain. But I hear in SoCal it's tough to get approved. I'm almost 58. I love working and being out & about, but it's just not possible now. My legs don't always cooperate with me & the fatigue. My employer will take me back anytime I'm ready, but the stress knocks me out quickly. I have an attorney who said it could take 2 1/2-5 yrs to get approved? My Doctors told me to apply, that it would be difficult to go back. I'm just frustrated with the process. Thanks for letting me vent.
It's sad that the system is abused. It shouldn't have to be so hard.
Yes approved by Medicare pretty quick had great case worker ar MS ctr that helped. Can apply online now at Medicare.gov suggest start application online and see if can. MS is supposed be on a list of the diseases that is an automatic approved by them NOW
